The Imperial guitar was originally made in Italy, but by 1964 it was too expensive to produce so they moved the brand to Japan.  Gakki had invested in some of the first computer driven cutting and finishing machines, and this allowed them the luxury of taking time to hand finish their guitars.  This survivor is almost dead mint, and it’s professionally set up by our own luthiers (yes we feed them well, and they are mostly content)

Comes with the original vibrato arm, that’s missing on 99% of these rare guitars.
